Fibroids - Causes, Symptoms and Herbal Treatment

Fibroids are tumours that grow in the muscles and

other soft tissues of the uterus. There are two types of fibroids: non-surgical and surgical. Non-surgical fibroids can be treated with medication, but surgical resection is often recommended if they cause symptoms such as heavy periods or pain during intercourse.

Fibroids are benign tumours that grow in the muscles and other soft tissues of the uterus. They can cause pain, bleeding and infertility.

Fibroids may be detected through a pelvic examination or ultrasound scan.

Fibroids are common, affecting around 1 in 5 women over the age of 35 years.

Fibroids are a common problem, affecting around 1 in 5 women over the age of 35 years. They are non-cancerous tumours that grow in the muscles and other soft tissues of your uterus. Fibroids can cause pelvic pain, as well as vaginal bleeding and/or discharge.

Fibroids may also be associated with abnormal contractions of your uterus during pregnancy or childbirth. However, this is less common than fibroids themselves being detected during pregnancy - about 1% of women who have had an ultrasound examination during their pregnancies are found to have some type of uterine abnormality (1).

The fibroid may cause you to feel heavy or full, but you may not be able to feel it.

You might also experience:

Pain during your period (menorrhagia) or after having sex (dyspareunia).

Bleeding between periods that lasts more than seven days in a row. This is called menometrorrhagia and is common among women who have fibroids. It's usually caused by the buildup of blood in the uterus because it's too big for the cervix—and if this happens, there will be an increased risk of miscarriage due to premature birth from uterine rupture due to pressure from excess blood within its chamber walls; however, if left untreated this condition can lead to chronic pelvic pain as well as infertility problems over time due to scar tissue formation around where these tissues attach themselves within each individual organ system within their body!

Fibroids are benign tumors that form in the muscle of women's lower abdomen. If you have fibroids, your doctor will check for them by doing an exam and possibly taking a sample of tissue from inside your pelvis or uterus (womb).

Fibroids are generally symptomless, which means they don't produce specific signs or symptoms that are visible to others or easy to describe.

heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia)

pelvic pain during intercourse, especially when the fibroid is large and pressing on nerves in the pelvis (pudendal nerve)

Fibroids can also cause other health problems, including:

You should see a doctor if you have symptoms such as heavy periods, bloating or painful periods.

If you have any symptoms of fibroids, such as heavy periods, bloating or painful periods, pain in the lower abdomen, pain when walking or running, pain when lying down or sneezing and/or other related symptoms like nausea and vomiting.

You should see a doctor if:

You have heavy menstrual bleeding that lasts for more than 7 days in a row (it’s normal to have more than one period per year). This can be caused by fibroids that grow within the uterus (womb). It usually comes as a surprise because women don't usually get heavy bleeding until their 30s or 40s – but it's important to remember that every woman is different so some women may experience this problem earlier than others! The good news is there are things we can do about it though - so please don't panic! In fact I'll tell you right now: It's not uncommon at all! Most people who experience this type of problem actually manage quite well with treatment options available today...and they often feel much better .

Fibroids qcan be a difficult condition to manage, but they are not a death sentence. They can be treated and removed.

Prevention of Fibroids: The causes of pFibroids should be prevented with 2 glasses of water first thing in the morning every day.
